Do you take my pet to your home?

No. Your pet feels happy and safe in their own home/environment so that’s where we visit them. If you’ve opted for a Hound Hike, however, we may take them for a little ride to get to great location for a nice, long walk. 

What does a a Pet Sit consist of?

Our Pet Sits are visits. During our visit we will feed, administer medication, walk, clean up after, and snuggle up on your pet based on the instructions you provide in our online system. We understand that the care your pet needs may change. We make it easy for you to update any information that will help us care for your pets during our visits. You’ll know your visit is completed when your sitter sends a picture through our online system.

Which Pet Sit option is right for me?

Most clients find that our 20 minute visit is sufficient. However, we offer additional options as well as overnights because you know your pet best! Maybe your pet is a real people person and is happiest with long/longer visits? Or maybe you’ve got a long day at work and want to make sure your pet gets extra exercise and snuggles? Regardless, Golden Isles Pet Sitter has you covered. 

Can you medicate my pet?

This is handled on a case by case basis. Depending on the level of care your pet needs, we may or may not be able to accommodate. Basic medications and instructions are covered.

Our dog is super high energy, can you help?

We offer exercise visits. These are a little longer than the basic visit and allow us to provide some great exercise for those high energy canines. Running, long walks, fetch, etc… Does your dog have a favorite activity? Let us know in the instructions, and we will help you ensure they get the exercise they need. 

No job sharing policy

Glynco Pet Sitters has a strict no job sharing policy. When you are away, and you have contracted with us, your pet and your home are our responsibility. We cannot control what someone else may/may not so during that time. We can, however, control what we do. We take the care of your pets and your home seriously and will not share pet care with the neighbors while you are away. 

Do you cover my area?

We are a new business, with plans to expand the area of our pet sitting coverage. For now, we are servicing those in the Glynco/Harry Driggers Blvd area as well as Saint Simons Island. We will be expanding our coverage area as we are able to bring on staff to accommodate it.

How do I pay?

Payment for visits is expected before the visit takes place. The visit will not take place if payment is not received prior. You can leave cash/check at the time of your first visit and pre-pay for additional visits that are scheduled if this is your preferred payment method. You can also pay via credit card, conveniently through the Time To Pet App. 

When do I need to schedule?

You will want to schedule your Meet & Greet initial session PRIOR to our first official visit. Our online system allows you to schedule the services you need 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. If you need service with less than 24 hours notice, please contact us at 912-217-3646.

What if my instructions need to change?

Our Time To Pet App makes it easy for our clients to update any instructions in real time. Your pet sitter will get a notification of these updates so you can rest assured the care your pets need will be delivered. If you’ve updated your Time To Pet App instructions to us, but wish to double check, you can always give us a call 912-217-3646. 

How do we handle keys?

For now, the details of keys will be discussed during the Meet & Greet. Some clients are comfortable handing us a key, knowing we will keep is safe. Others would rather hide a key in a secure location on their property. The details can be discussed and included in the instructions were given at the initial Meet & Greet session. 

Cancellation Policy

A Non-holiday Cancellation Fee is charged to your card on file if you cancel within 48 hours of your first visit in the amount of 20% of any visits that fall within that 48 hours.

Holiday cancellation fee: The 20% deposit is NON-REFUNDABLE if cancellation is made within 7 days of first visit.

Overnights cancellation fee: The 20% deposit is NON-REFUNDABLE if cancellation is made within 7 days of first visit.


Discounts?

Occasionally we do run specials for our clients/perspective clients. The best way to learn about these is to sign up to stay up to date on any and all products and discounts. Additionally, we offer a discount for Daily Dog Walks where a client has committed to at least 3 walks per week Monday thru Friday from 9am-2pm, with their invoice paid for the month in advance.
